PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive in which an offset caused by the deviation of an optical axis is reduced with a simple structure and the reading accuracy of an ATIP is improved. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive is provided with first tracking error generating means 18 and 70 which generate first tracking error components from the detection signal of reflected light of a main light beam with read power or erase power, second tracking error generating means 22 to 26, 72 and 74 which generate second tracking error components from the detection signal of reflected light of a sub-light beam with write power, and a subtraction means 20 which subtracts the second tracking error components from the first tracking error components to obtain a tracking error signal during recording. The offset caused by the deviation of the optical axis by the write power to the read power during recording by the main light beam or erase power can be reduced with this simple structure. The reading accuracy of the ATIP detected from the reflected light of the main light beam at timing of read power during recording can be improved.
