PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide positive conveyance not affected by shape of an article in an article conveying device by a pair of belt conveyer type conveying means. SOLUTION: An interval between a pair of base members 3 is adjustable by a symmetric simultaneous movement mechanism comprising a screw rod 4 and a nut member 6. Main arms 10 are rotatably connected to the base members via rotary shafts 9, and the conveying means 12 are rotatably connected to tips of the main arms via rotary shafts 16. An interval between the pair of conveying means 12 and 12 is arbitrarily set by adjusting the interval between the pair of base members 3 and 3 in accordance with the shape of the article 20 to be conveyed. Installation heights of the conveying means 12 are arbitrarily set by adjusting angles of the main arms 10 to the base members 3. Inclined states of the conveying means 12 are arbitrarily set by adjusting angles of the conveying means 12 to the rotary shafts 16 in tips of the main arms. Attitudes of the conveying means can be changed and adjusted in accordance with a variety of shapes of articles and the articles can be positively conveyed.
