<p>Subject of the invention is a system for charging small amounts in on-line networks. The invention is applicable in the field of on-line networks like the Internet, mobile wireless networks, telephone networks etc. An example of the application of the system is charging small amounts when selling information, products and services via the specified networks. Typical of the system according to the invention is, that between the client (1) and the seller (2) there is a tariff device (3). The tariff device (3) is connected to the client (1) and the seller (2) by duplex communication channels. The tariff device (3) identifies the client (1), searches in its database (4) for the internet address, submits the request to the seller (2), accepts the content from the seller (2), verifies the credit status of the client (1), send the content to the client (1) and enters a record on the transaction into its database (4).</p> |
