ANTENNA SWITCHING APPARATUS USING EARPHONE

An antenna switching apparatus comprises a reception failure detection block (9) for detecting generation of reception failure and an antenna switch (8) for switching electrical connection to one of two earphone wires (11a, 11b) provided for outputting a stereo sound each time generation of reception failure is detected. When a reception failure is generated while utilizing one of the earphone wires as an antenna, switching to the other earphone wire is performed, so that an antenna reception state when the reception failure is generated is changed, thereby evading the reception failure.
