<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic voting system and an electronic voting method for allowing one elector to elect one eligible person, making it possible to conduct electronic voting and survey while preventing voting by double electors, and protecting the privacy of true voters. SOLUTION: The system and method comprise a process for providing an elector with an information card upon presentation of an admission ticket, the card having input thereto information about a votable mode such as the kind and date of election; a process for confirming the input of the information using a reader and/or writer for reading the information on the information card; an act for electing an electee and/or a party at the election if this confirmation is determined to be correct; a means for determining whether the electee and/or party elected is allowable or not; a means for reactivating a display panel for electees and/or parties or the like if the electee and/or party elected is not allowable; a means for printing a ballot on which electors who elected the electee and/or parties are marked, if the electee and/or party elected is allowable; a process for casting the ballot into a ballot box and returning the information card; and a means for confirming that the information on the information card returned remains unchanged.</p> |
