PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of dark current which is generated in a QWIP detection element by biasing being too large, as compared to a signal current obtained by detecting infrared radiation, and signal detection becomes disturbed. SOLUTION: The photodetector comprises a photosensor array, having a plurality of photosensors 1 arranged in a two-dimensional matrix form, and a detection circuit board arranged with signal detection circuits, corresponding to the photosensors in two-dimensional matrix where the dark currents of respective photosensors 1 are canceled using two constant-current source transistors 6 and 16.
