PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for information delivery, which can extract only necessary information other than junk mail from various information and distribute it to a predetermined user terminal. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a processing unit 4 which temporarily receives various information before the information is distributed to a user's terminal 2, extracts only information meeting user's needs from the received information, and distributes it; and the processing unit is provided with a registration part 6 which registers the address of the user terminal of the user, a reception part 10 which temporarily receives various information sent from an information distribution source 8, an extraction part 12 which can extract only the information meeting the user's needs from the information received by the reception part, and a distribution part 14 which distributes the information extracted by the extraction part to the user terminal. The extraction part properly updates the criterion for judging whether information meets the user's needs according to changes of the user's needs.
