DATA REPEATER AND MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in data relay of a multiplex communication system. SOLUTION: A data repeater 4 provided among a plurality of multiplex communication lines 21 to 23 is provided a buffer 431 that temporarily holds received data before transmitting the received data in each type of data, and also, a plurality of buffers are allocated about a portion of data types. A data controller 44 for control is set so as to designate a buffer 431 for identifying the type of the received data and writing the type of the received data and also to confirm the presence/absence of data in each buffer 431 to transfer the data to a prescribed a relay destination. Furthermore, data are exchanged between buffers 431 so that the first received data among pieces of data being the same data type can be stored in a prescribed buffer 431, and confirmation of the presence/absence of the data is performed only about the prescribed buffer 431. Skipping in a transfer mode is also inhibited between pieces of data of the same type so that buffers 431 can be overwritten only by the latest data of the same type.
