PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation wavelength control system for a laser diode(LD), capable of easily locking the oscillation wavelength, locking the oscillation output to identical oscillation wavelength, even if the oscillation output fluctuates, and locking the wavelength to the same oscillation wavelength, even if an aging change occurs at the LD and easily executing testing of an alarm to be generated, when changes occur in the locking wavelength. SOLUTION: The oscillation wavelength control system for the LD detects the temperature change of the LD at initial start time, automatically controls the temperature, then automatically controls the power, detects the change of the oscillation wavelength of the LD after the control is finished, automatically controls the temperature of the LD and automatically controls the power. The control system comprises a constitution for adding a voltage, based on data indicating the change of the detected voltage, in association with the change of the oscillation wavelength of the LD, to either the voltage for detecting the change of the oscillation wavelength of the LD to be supplied to the automatic frequency controller or a reference voltage.
