PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk playback device which can easily select target directory. SOLUTION: On a disk 11, one directory stored with compressed voice data or more are recorded. An operation part 17 has a ten keys. When a number is inputted using ten keys, a microcomputer 15 decides whether there is a directory matching the number as least part of the directory name of the directory. When it is decided that there is a directory matching the number, a compressed voice decoder 18 decodes and reproduces the compressed voice data stored in the directory.
