PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve which can be manufactured at a lower cost without deteriorating fluid control performance by reciprocating motion of a plunger. SOLUTION: This solenoid valve comprises a fixed core 2, a plunger 7 disposed to form a magnetic gap with the fixed core 2, a valve member (ball valve) 10 capable of moving to reciprocate, and valve seats 12a and 13a for the valve member 10. By electromagnetic force generated when energized, the plunger 7 is attracted toward the fixed core 2, and the valve member 2 is moved to get separated from/abutted on the valve seats 12a and 13a, so that fluid is controlled. The fixed core 2 comprises a cylindrical part 21 formed by diametric lamination.
