PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in the fuel system for a gasoline engine provided with the accumulator in which it is difficult to instantaneously secure the minimal fuel pressure when an accumulation type fuel system is started or when the pressure is changed during the operation, because the inside of the accumulator is adjusted by a pump and a check valve. SOLUTION: In this fuel system with the accumulator for gasoline and the like, a fuel-supply line and a fuel return line are connected by a piston movable therebetween, and the pressure in the accumulator is adjusted by the movement of the piston.
