PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making method for forming a texture pattern in a woven fabric, comprising paying an attention on adhesive fibers used for fraying-preventing tapes, fiber falling-preventing tapes and skirt-lifting tapes, regularly or irregularly destroying the texture of the woven fabric and then fixing the destroyed texture by the adhesive function of the adhesive fibers, by which the texture pattern, such as an arbitrary pattern, can be expressed, for example at an arbitrary position, as the base pattern of the woven fabric by a simple method without requiring a complicated technique. SOLUTION: This method for forming the texture pattern in the woven fabric uses adhesive fibers exhibiting an adhesive function by the application of heat as warps or wefts, manually or mechanically destroying the texture comprising warps and wefts and then thermally adhering and fixing the destroyed texture state by the adhesive function of the adhesive fibers.
