A commodity purchasing method comprises a first step of transmitting menu data for displaying the menu of commodities to a mobile telephone (1) in response to an access of the mobile telephone (1) to the Web site of a commodity shop, a second step of transmitting commodity data representing a commodity selected from the menu on the screen of the mobile telephone (1) after the received menu data is displayed on the screen, a third step of displaying the received commodity data on a terminal (4) of the commodity shop and transmitting the authentication information necessary to receive the commodity to the mobile telephone (1) having ordered the commodity, and a fourth step of displaying information representing the completion of the preparation of the commodity when the commodity preparation is completed, together with the authentication information on the screen of the mobile telephone (1).
