PURPOSE: A housing air passage structure of a fan motor is provided to attain a cooling of a motor without installing the other cooling fan by introducing a mass amount of air into a housing and cooling the motor using the introduced air. CONSTITUTION: An intake port(101) is formed at one side of a case(103), and discharging hole(102) is installed at the other side thereof. An inside of the case is divided into a dust collecting chamber(104) and a machine installing chamber(105). A back filter(106) is installed inside the dust collecting chamber, and the fan-motor(107) is provided inside the machine installing chamber. A motor(114) composed of a rotor(112) and a stator(113) is installed at a housing(111), a motor shaft is fixed at a center of the rotor, an impeller(116) is fixed at a rear side of the motor shaft, and a guide vane(117) and an impeller cover(118) are coupled at a periphery of the impeller. A front through hole of a square type is formed radially at a body portion of the housing.
