PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating contention-free bursts in a network having a shared communication medium and an access recovery method when a collision occurs in the contention-free bursts. SOLUTION: In the method of starting the contention-free bursts by deciding the state of the shared communication medium (410) and waiting for a specified period (415, 430 or 435) in the network having the shared communication medium, the specified period is based on the state of the medium, transmission is performed after waiting for a required period and the contention-free bursts are started (420). When the collision occurs in the contention-free bursts, in this method, by starting the contention-free bursts first and then waiting for an expected response from a destination, access is recovered. When the expected response is not detected, the state of the shared medium is detected and standby is performed on the basis of the state of the shared medium. After the standby is completed, the control of the shared medium is recovered. |
