PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectional antenna that can directly be excited by a digital signal, which is converted into a pulse signal and directly applied to the antenna. SOLUTION: A tapered V-shaped antenna comprising elements 5, 6 laid out in a V-shape is excited from a feeding point 2. A spherical wave from the feeding point 2 is reflected in a reflection mirror 7 comprising part of a parabolid of revolution and becomes a plane wave. The tapered V-shaped antenna is easily matched over a wide frequency band and directly excited by a pulse signal. An axial line 9 of the spherical wave is tilted with respect to an axial line X-X of the reflection mirror 7. Few of the reflection wave from the reflection mirror 7 returns to the feeding point 2 placed on a focus of the paraboloid of revolution.
