PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal the liquid crystal display device of which is foldably fitted to its enclosure so as to allow a user to visually confirm display contents of the liquid crystal display device even in a folded state thereby enhancing the visibility of the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The folded mobile phone is configured such that a display case 21 with a transparent LCD 1 fitted thereto in a way that both sides of the LCD 1 can be visible and an operation section case 22 with a plurality of switches 3 placed thereto are connected turnably by a hinge section 23. A display control means controls an operation of inverting an image display on the LCD 1 depending on whether the LCD 1 is viewed from the front side or from the side. When the mobile phone is folded, a side of the operation section case 22 close to the LCD 1 and opposed thereto acts like a light reflection face. Furthermore, when the mobile phone is folded, a light source lighting the switches 3 from the inside of the operation section case 22 lights up the LCD 1.
