PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ECCENTRIC CYLINDRICAL PART OF WORK USING MEASURING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a processing method and device capable of processing the eccentric cylindrical part of a work accurately even if no corrective processing data is prepared, by measuring the eccentric cylindrical part at a low cost precisely using a general-purpose measuring device. CONSTITUTION: The eccentric cylindrical part from the axis of a work is put in epicyclic motions with rotation of the spindle of the processing device, and a processing tool is advanced and retreated to/from the axis of the spindle in synchronization with the epicyclic motions and also allowed to make a depth feed so that the eccentric cylindrical part is processed into a cylinder. On the way of processing, the eccentric cylindrical part is indexed to a specified angular position and stopped, and the measuring device in the retreated position is moved to the measuring position for measuring the eccentric cylindrical part stopped in the specified angular position so as to measure the diameter of the eccentric cylindrical part, and a finish processing is performed in accordance with the diametric difference between the measured diameter and the target value.
