PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for processing a flat cable, which can bend the flat cable at a specified angle with accuracy by simple work, and to provide a method of processing the flat cable by that tool. SOLUTION: This tool is equipped with a thickness-direction support 2 for supporting the flat cable in its thickness direction, and a widthwise-direction support 3 for supporting the flat cable by positioning it in its widthwise direction. This is so constituted as to bend the flat cable at a specified angle θby forming a bending angle determinator 4, which inclines by the above bending angle θ to the flat cable positioned and supported by both supports 2 and 3 at the end of the above thickness-direction support 2, and bending the flat cable along this bending angle determinator 4. |
