PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape for a seal excellent in balance among strength, transparency and surface-following property, capable of good sealing a container body such as a cake can and a container lid, and not generating a toxic substance when incinerated. SOLUTION: An adhesive tape for a seal has an adhesive layer over the surface of a support wherein the support is formed from laminates layered with the surface layers comprising polypropylene of not more than 7 wt.% of an ethylene content, on the both sides of a middle layer comprising an amorphous polyolefin containing not less than 50 wt.% of a butene-1 component alone or a total amount of both components compounded with a butene-1 component and a propylene component and 80-0 pts.wt. polypropylene.
