PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animation generation system managing a skeleton for animating a model by every motion purpose, and capable of naturally animating the skeletons with different shapes from few animation data. SOLUTION: A model generation part 5a generates a model in units of components such as a hand, a leg, a body or a head based on data inputted from an operation part 7. A skeleton data generation part 5b generates skeleton data corresponding to a generated component based on component data from the operation part 7. A classification management part 5c classifies and manages respective bones of the skeleton by every motion purpose. An animation data processing part 5d processes the original animation data and pastes the processed data to parts of the respective bones. An animation execution part 5e executes bone calculation from the processed animation data according to predetermined laws in each the classification, and controls execution of the animation.
