PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation assisting device capable of suppressing the generation of repulsive force of magnets which becomes a braking force, when a magnet fixed to a rotor plate approaches to a magnet of the fixed plate, allowing the repulsive force of the both magnets to effectively act on only the rotating direction to realize the increase of a speed of the rotation by the magnets. SOLUTION: The rotor plate 10 fixed to a rotary shaft 1 to be integrally rotated, and the fixed plate 3 are opposite to one another, and each of opposite faces of the rotor plate 10 and the fixed plate 3 is provided with plural main magnetic plates 11 radially arranged at constant intervals, a magnet 12 for demagnetization located on one face side of the main magnetic plate 11, and a fan-shaped magnetic plate 13 located between adjacent main magnetic plates 11. The rotor plate 10 and the fixed plate 3 are mounted in an opposite clearance having a rotational gap between the opposite faces of the magnets 12 for demagnetization of the both plates, magnetic poles of the opposite faces of the main magnetic plates 11 respectively mounted on the rotor plate 10 and the fixed plate 3 have the same polarity, the numbers of the main magnetic plates 11 mounted on the rotor plate 10 is made different from that on the fixed plate 3, and a repulsive force by the magnetic line of force of both main magnetic plates 11 is allowed to effectively act on only the rotating direction to increase a speed of the rotating shaft 1.
