An ECU determines the physical conditional amount Mgair to show the vapor accumulated situation of the canister air layer, physical conditional amount Mgcan to show the vapor accumulated situation of the adsorbent, and physical conditional amount Fvptnk to show the vapor generation situation in a fuel tank. The ECU 50 presumes the rate of vapor flow Fvpall of the vapor discharged to the engine intake system in conformity to a physical model prepared based upon these physical conditional amounts and corrects the fuel supply amount from a fuel supply device so as to establish the adaption of the vapor purge processing to the air-fuel ratio feedback control.
