FILTER FOR DISPLAY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for display which is excellent in both of productivity and electromagnetic wave shieldability by forming an electrode layer having the exposed parts of a transparent conductive layer only on the two sides and sealing the end faces of a functional transparent layer on the remaining sides for the purpose of preventing electromagnetic wave leakage. SOLUTION: The filter for display of a rectangular shape consisting of the functional transparent layer A having antireflection and/or antidazzle functions, a transparent tacky adhesive layer C, a high-molecular film B and the transparent conductive layer D is laminated with these layers in order of A/D/B/C and the end faces of the functional transparent layer A are at least partly end-sealed. The filter has a segment where the functional transparent layer A does not exist on the transparent conductive layer D at the end of at least one side. The electrode layers E are directly formed on the two sides facing each other in the segment on the transparent conductive layer D and the end faces of the functional transparent layer A on the remaining sides are end- sealed.
