PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide passenger conveyor capable of guiding passengers to a safe riding position, increasing visibility for the guiding, and increasing the life of a display bodies installed on the surface of treads. SOLUTION: In this wide passenger conveyor 1, indication bodies 7 having colored patterns such as foot marks are installed on the passenger routes of access floor 2, a comb floor 3, and steps 4 on either of the right and left sides within the area of a lateral width W1 of approx. 1/3 of the lateral width W of the steps 4. On the ceiling above the indication bodies 7, an indicator 8 for indicating the characters and marks meant by the indication bodies 7 is installed. All or a part of a handrail 5A, a handrail panel 6AA, and a deck cover 6BB positioned on a indication body side 7 colored with a same group of color to safely guide passengers continuously and consistently on the guide side and foot positions of the passengers. The indication bodies 7 are formed of magnetic bodies 7a and colored pattern parts 7d to increase a life, strength, and visibility.
