CONVEX FUEL MANIFOLD PROVIDNG UNIFORM PRESSURE SEAL TO FUEL CELL STACK

A reactant gas manifold (6), to be used with a feul cell stack (17) havig a flat seal surface (16), is provided wth a convex seal surface (13) so that when the manifold (6) is distorted by being bolted (20) to the fuel cell stack, the distortion will provide substatially uniform seal pressure along the lenght of the seal between the surfaces (13, 16).
