<p>A method of transmitting data to a dual-mode communication unit (250), comprising: a radio broadcast system transmitting a block of data to the communication unit (250) over a broadcast radio interface (240) and feeding the block of data to a cellular communication system; the communication unit (250) receiving the block of data from the radio broadcast system by operating in a radio broadcast receipt mode, determining whether the block of data has been received satisfactorily or erroneously, and transmitting, if the data has been received erroneously, a request for correction data to the cellular communication system over a cellular radio interface (230); the cellular communication system, in response to receiving the request, transmitting correction data to the communication init (250) over the cellular radio interface (230); and the communication unit (250) receiving the correction data from the cellular radio communication system by operating in a cellular radio receipt mode.</p> |
