The vehicle has a movable roof element (5) housed in guides on roof side frames (3,4), and a flat rear element (6) which is especially the rear window. The flat rear element is hinge-mounted on the body of the vehicle, whereby the movable roof element in its completely open rear end position is accommodated in the guides provided for the flat element. The side roof frames each have a front (3a,4a) and a rear (3b,4b) section, whereby the front section is movably joined to the rear section or detachably connected to it. The rear sections form or contain the C-post of the vehicle.
