The desmodromic valve gear comprises a rocker lever (11) upon which acts the connecting rod of a control shaft formed as a crankshaft. The upper spring plate (3) is fitted on the connecting rod (1) of a crankshaft (15) with axial movement capability, while the lower spring plate (5) is axially unmovable. Both the upper and the lower spring plate have a fixed connection to the connecting rod spring (4).
