Tensioned material (8) is fixed between two longitudinal spars (2,3) of the piece of furniture. The spars are supported against each other by a bow shaped cross spar (1). The cross spar is set into side openings in the longitudinal spars without use of screws. The material is connected to the longitudinal spars while material is untensioned, before the cross spar attains its bow shaped end position with a second bending radius. Independent claim included for procedure to manufacture the piece of furniture.
