EXPRESSION CASSETTE AND PLASMID FOR STRONG CONSTITUTIVE GENE EXPRESSION AND THE USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are an expression cassette and a plasmid which have a strong structural promoter capable of binding to a heterologous gene for strong constitutive gene expression and their use. CONSTITUTION: A chimeric gene is characterized by containing a promoter and heterologous nucleic acid coding a desirable polypeptide, wherein the promoter is Arabidopsis trehalose-6-phosphate synthease 3 promoter of 1kb. In particular, the promoter is characterized by: (i) being isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana; having restriction enzyme sites for SacI(0.12kb), BspHI(0.17kb), SauI(0.78kb) and SalI(1.0kb); and containing a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.
