The invention provides a method of producing a document, which includes applying at least a first character to a document, which first character is visible to the naked eye under normal conditions, and applying at least a second character corresponding or related to the first character to the document, which second character is visible or invisible to the naked eye under normal conditions, but which is clearly visible to the eye under a revealing condition.
