PURPOSE: A window or door coupled to a frame mounted with a rod shaped horizontal rail is provided to secure the smooth and convenient opening and closing handling of the window or door sliding from side to side. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular frame(1) for a window(7-b,7-b') or door sliding from side to side is formed with an open square-shaped channel, and a bracket coupled with a rod shaped horizontal rail(4) is fitted in the channel with bolts(3). On the other hand, the window or door is formed with a rectangular groove, and a pair of units(5-a,5-a') are fitted in the rectangular groove with bolts, thereby the units of the window being coupled with the rod shaped horizontal rail of the frame to secure the smooth opening and closing operation of the window within the frame.
