PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize, to reduce weight and cost of an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: In this one-way clutch for an automatic transmission, provided with an inner ring, an outer ring mounted coaxially and relatively movably to the inner ring, a recessed part formed along the circumferential direction on one of an outer periphery of the inner ring and an inner periphery of the outer ring, a claw engaged with the recessed part, and an energizing member for energizing the claw with the recessed part, the outer ring is mounted on a case of the automatic transmission.
