PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device suitable for a front light or the like of a liquid crystal module with high illumination efficiency not hindering visibil ity, which can be manufactured in a simple process. SOLUTION: The lighting device is provided with a light-emitting part 4, and a support body 5 made of a resin material of epoxy or the like supporting the light-emitting part 4. The light-emitting part 4 has a structural body 3 composed of a metal wire 2 of aluminum or the like combined in a lattice shape making up a skeleton of the light-emitting part 4, a light-emitting layer made of an organic EL material or the like formed at least at a part of the surface of the structural body and an electrode for impressing voltage or passing current on the light-emitting layer.
