PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security camera system which can be operated by low- cost equipment at a low running cost without requiring an installing place. SOLUTION: The security camera system is provided with a plurality of cameras 100 to execute exposure and windup of a film by inputting a release signal, remote control receivers 50 provided to every camera to receive a prescribed remote control signal and a output the release signal to the camera 100 and one remote control transmitter 10 to transmit a prescribed remote control signal, the remote control receiver 50 is provided with a channel switch SWCh to set a channel to be operated, the remote control transmitter 10 is provided with the channel switch SWCh to set a channel for transmission and an emergency switch SWEm to transmit an emergency signal to operate all the remote control receivers 50 and the camera 100 irrespective of the specified channel.
