<p>A mould component for the production of an article of glass holloware defines at least part of a cavity within which glass will be located during the production of the article. The mould component has a body part 1 made of one metallic material and an insert part 3 of another metallic material. The insert part lines at least part of the cavity such that, during glass production, substantially all of the contact between the glass and the mould component is with the insert.</p> |
