<p>A sweet microwave popcorn product is provided that can be prepared by the consumer in a single step. The product comprises a microwaveable container; a plurality of unpopped corn kernels in the container; and a plurality of sugar pellets in the container. Each sugar pellet comprises sugar in an amount of at least about 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the sugar pellet. The sugar pellets are substantially free of an emulsifying agent.</p> |
