Holder (2) includes circumferentially-distributed edge penetrations (8). The (elastomeric) plate has projections passing through the penetrations and enlarged with respect to them. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of aeration rotor manufacture. Surrounding strips are coated with bonding agent before introduction of the holder into the mold to make the plate. Projections are mutually inter-connected on the underside of the holder. The plate (1) is externally led around the edge of the holder, below which it transitions integrally into the projections. The edge of the plate is firmly attached to a strip around the entire circumference, preferably on the lower side of the holder. The holder has a surrounding ridge around its underside. The holder is laid into a mold for the plate, which is over-injection molded.
