CATCH BASIN ATTACHMENT

A catch basin attachment capable of preventing growth of mosquitoes in the accumulation area of the catch basin and shielding the dispersion of odor from the inside. This catch basin attachment comprises a support member fixed to the upper end of the basin main body, and an inner gate supported by this support member below a basin cover, wherein this inner gate forms an inner basin for temporarily storing rain water which passes through the basin cover. This inner gate is normally closed but is opened by the force applied thereto by the rain water stored in the inner basin to a predetermined level or above, so as to allow the rain water to fall from the inner basin into the basin main body.
