PURPOSE: A method for coating partially or completely the surface with an aqueous composition and an aqueous composition are provided, which composition is applied for a coating, an ink, a fountain solution, an adhesive, an agricultural composition and an electronics cleaning composition, to reduce the equilibrium surface tension. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous composition comprises an inorganic mineral or compound as a pigment or a pigment; a polymerizable monomer; an oligomer resin; a polymer resin; a detergent; a herbicide; an insecticide; an organic compound as a fungicide or a plant grown modifier; an N,N'-dialkylamide of tartaric acid represented by the formula 1, for reducing the surface tension of the composition; and water, wherein R6 and R2 is an alkyl group of C4-C8, and at least one of the two is a branched alkyl group of C4-C8.
