<p>The dressing contains zinc and/or manganese trace element(s). An Independent claim is included for the method of manufacture, comprising preparation of a solution of calcium chloride. Sodium alginate powder is incorporated to form by ionic exchange, a suspension of calcium alginate. The solid suspension is washed to eliminate excess calcium and chloride ions, and partially dried. A solution containing the trace elements is incorporated. The product is now dried and crushed to obtain the grading required.</p> |
