摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for noninvasively measuring hemoglobin concentration and oxygen saturation are provided to monitor correctly the noninvasive hemoglobin concentration and the saturation degree of oxygen in due consideration of dispersion of red corpuscles. CONSTITUTION: A beam radiation portion(40) radiates incident rays having two or more wavelengths water of a low wavelength band of 1300nm and below to a predetermined part of a body. An optical detection portion(42) receives the beam passing through the predetermined part of the body, converts the received beam to an electrical signal, and outputs the electrical signal. A varied amount calculation portion(68) outputs the varied amounts of optical attenuation of the selected wavelength by using the electrical signal. A ratio calculation portion(70) calculates a ratio between the varied amounts of optical attenuation. A density calculation portion(72) calculates density of hemoglobin from the ratio. The wavelengths are selected from the outside in order to include two or more isobetic wavelengths.</p>
