PURPOSE: A sintered alloy for exhaust valve seat with increased thermal resistance, high heat strength and heat conductivity is provided, which is suitable for high load engine such as V6 or V8 engines. CONSTITUTION: The sintered alloy for exhaust valve seat is characterized in that a Co based compound comprising C 0.6 to 1.2 wt.%, Ni 1.0 to 3.0 wt.%, Cr 3.0 to 6.0 wt.%, Mo 4.0 to 7.0 wt.%, Cu 9.0 to 16.0 wt.%, Co 8.0 to 11.0 wt.%, W 0.8 to 2.0 wt.%, 2 wt.% or less of other unavoidable impurities and a balance of Fe is homogeneously diffused in sorbite structure.
