PURPOSE: An engine management system for a vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency and output by controlling the vehicle accurately throughout the range with using divided RPM(Revolution Per Minute) brake points as an adaptation map. CONSTITUTION: The entire operation range of an engine is divided based on RPM and load, and the common operation range is decided according to learning. The RPM brake point of the common operation range is subdivided sequentially, and a vehicle is controlled according to the subdivided RPM brake point. The common operation range is decided according to hours and numbers of the RPM brake point with preparing the brake point learning. The subdivision number is decided according to limit of RPM calculation. Fuel efficiency and output are improved with controlling precisely in the entire range.
