DEVICE FOR DIAGNOSIS AND AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF THYRATRON AND METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A device for diagnosis and automatic control of thyratron and method of the same are provided to diagnose loss of gas in a reserver and automatically control initial set pressure of gas in the reserver. CONSTITUTION: A device(2) includes a sensor(34) measuring current of a heater(30); a converter(26) impressing voltage to ionize gas in a reserver(22); detecting parts(24a,24b) detecting voltage of the reserver; and a control part(36) responding to a first switching signal by comparing current detected by the sensor with initial set current and controlling the converter to increase voltage of the reserver until the detected current and the initial set current are same and responding to a second switching signal by controlling the converter to increase the voltage of the reserver until the voltage detected by the detecting parts and set reference voltage are same while measuring current of the heater by the sensor.
