PURPOSE: An optical recording medium recorded with a wobble signal, a device and a method for recording the wobble signal are provided to easily extract header information with obtaining a stable clock signal. CONSTITUTION: In an optical recording medium recorded with a wobble signal carrying header information, a period of the wobble signal is a multiple of a unit period of a recording mark. A method for recording the wobble signal carrying header information at the optical recording medium includes the steps of preparing sine waves, each having a period which is a multiple of the unit period of the recording mark to record user data at an information track and is different from others; modulating the header information shown by binary data based on the sine waves; recording the obtained wobble signal.
