The apparatus has a connector (11) connected to a port (21) of a computer (1) and receiving a charging and a data signal. A conversion module (12) is connected to an output of the connector and converts the data signal from the connector into a charging voltage. Another connector (13) connected to the output of the module receives and transmits a serial data and the charging voltage to a cellular phone (3).
