METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VISUALIZING AND MANIPULATING 3-D OBJECT IN NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A 3D-object visualizing and manipulating method in a network environment and a device thereof are provided to visualize a 3-D object in real time via network by using a general personal computer without any rendering or model producing steps. CONSTITUTION: A 3D-object visualizing method in a network environment includes the steps of capturing images of an object into an image sequence, and obtaining samples of the object images from a view angle of an azimuth angleθand a rising angleψin spherical coordinates, encoding the image sequence into video having video frames tagged by the azimuth angle and the rising angle, and viewing the object three demensionally by random access of the video.
